A 9.6 and a 9.562 were not quite enough when it came to the prelims of the World Championships last night. A 9.6 on parallel bars did not qualify him to finals where a a 9.562 on high bar put him as the third reserve athlete (11th place). A rough floor exercise routine landed him with a score of 8.912. Sadly, Justin did not qualify to any event finals, unless three people drop out of the high bar final. It's time for him to sitback and enjoy the competition and the sights to see in Melbourne. Congrats on all of your accomplishments Justin!
November 21, 2005

His high bar set is also one to watch as he changed his routine so it's at a 10.0 start value jam-packed with combinations. Justin will be competing in sessions 2 and 3. He'll do high bar in the 2nd session, rotation six, following that floor exercise and parallel bars in rotations 5 and 6 of the 3rd session. Good Luck Justin!
