  • I think he'll win it. I thought it would come down to Blaine and Sean with the Hamms at their heels, but now with Blaine out, I think Sean will win it. - Allison
  • i have to agree - Robin
  • Definetely. No question about it. I was pretty confident that Sean could beat Blaine anyway but now I really think he could win. - Allison
  • I think it will be between Sean and Steve McCain. They're both great but I'd love to see Sean take it - Bridget
  • It's between Sean and Steve, but as long as Sean stays focused I don't think anyone can beat him, even though Blaine is out i don't think he would have been able to beat Sean either! - Carrie
  • There is no doubt in my mind that Sean will win Nationals. Even before Blaine, Paul, and Morgan were injured I was confindent about Sean surpassing them all. Sean is built for the new code of points and is more determined than ever to win. I believe that Sean is the best the United States has at the moment. Paul and Morgan are right behind him, but not yet as well rounded and experienced as the wonderful Sean. NOT only is Sean a extraodinary gymnast but he has a wonderful aspiring personality. - Tara
  • I think that sean is going to take it. He deserves it so much! - Faye
  • I definately think Sean will be the new national champion. I agree with everyone else, Sean would have broken Blaine's string of national championships regardless. In my opinion Sean has always been the best, and Blaine is overscored because of his reputation as 5 time national champ. Hopefully this will all change! - Steve
  • More than likely, the title is his. I am a die hard Blaine Wilson fan, but since Blaine and the Hamms are hurt, he's pretty much the best that's left!! I must admit that he has a really good P-bars set, and his floor is good too, but the last time I saw his rings set, I thought it could use some work. Who knows! - Callista
  • Yeah, sadly or glady to say, I think that Sean will end the 5 year run of Blaine. Sean is my 2nd favorite male gymnast next to Blaine so I don't know whether to feel glad for Sean and sad for Blaine, or both. Either way, Sean does deserve to have a title of his own because Blaine has had his chance 5 times, and I think that he will be back next year to win his 6th title. So good luck Sean! - Leroy

The one that will put lead the United States to the top of mens gymnastics in the world. There is no doubt in my mind that Sean will be everything and more at Worlds - Tara
  • I believe that Sean will do well as long as he stays focused! I think he could place top 10 AA and maybe medal on vault, and rings maybe even more. - Carrie
  • Good! He's a great gymnast and I think as long as he concentrates and stuff he'll be near the top! - Stef

September 2003 - July 2004

How do you think Sean will do in the 2003 season after this small slump he's been in lately?

  • I think he's going to do great becuase I think it's going to make him more determined than ever especially since he was finally getting everything back together before he got hurt. I think he's going to work really hard, do great, and make the olympic team. :) - Andrea
  • If he can get his vault down, and maybe add some "safe" difficulty points on floor (like a full-twisting 1-3/4 instead of a double front tuck), and cleans up high bar, he'll be a shoo-in for the Olympic team, maybe even as an all-arounder - Peter
  • i hope that sean will make the olympic team because i think he is a really really great gymnast!!!! - Maren
  • yes!!he will because hes sexy sean townsend! - Kassi
  • I think that the injuries will make him even more determined to make up for lost time. He is an awesome gymnast and I believe that he can do anything he puts his mind too!!!!!!!! - Sara
  • Yes !! he's a great gymnast , if you believe in yourself than it commes to you - hugs chantal
  • he will definently make the team!!!!! - Megan
  • The injuries will only motivate him and help him focus more. I believe he's still in the top three in this country. Let's not forget that Sean was leading the AA at the 2001 World's before his fall off of high bar in the last rotation. He would have placed first comfortably had he not falled. These injuries and being left off the world team will only help motivate him more. I think he'll definitely be a part of the Olympic team, again. Good luck, Sean! - Brian
  • I think that Sean is a very determined and hard working person and I think this year will be good for him. I do think he will make the team because of his dedication to gymnastics. He sets goals for himself and works very hard to achieve them. - Melodie
  • yeah because he got 3rd at olympic trials!! go sean u rock my world!! YOU ARE HOTT!!!!!! :) - Maren
  • I think that Sean is going to do great especially after all of his injuries. I have also been going through a tough time with knee injuries for the past two years and all they have done is motivate me more to want to work harder and get better. So i think that Sean is going to be very motivated! I really hope he makes the olympics becasue he is such a great gymnast and is so hott! Good luck Sean!!! - Kristin
